Donald W. Cameron Campus

locate at7908 Leabourne Rd Colfax, NC 27235The new Donald W. Cameron Campus sits on approximately 95 acres northwest of Greensboro, NC. The Business and Industry building was the first to open on the new campus in fall 2014. This new 93,000 square-foot two-story facility will provide conference and meeting space, including a 250 seat auditorium, computer labs, flex labs, a model warehouse and general classroom space. The information technology infrastructure in this building is significant and advanced, making it a perfect fit for the high-tech computer programs offered at this site. It also features a library and student services space.

Two curriculum programs are offered at the campus including: global logistics and computer technology integration (database management emphasis) along with multiple continuing education classes of all types.

The offices for the North Carolina Center for Global Logistics (NCCGL) are housed at the Business and Industry Building and is a membership organization created through a collaborative project of Guilford Technical Community College, Davidson County Community College, Forsyth Technical Community College, Randolph Community College, and the Piedmont Triad Partnership.

The North Carolina Center for Global Logistics (NCCGL) is recognized as the resource center for the Transportation and Logistics industry by providing elite education, workforce development and advisory services to all individuals and businesses requiring assistance. The North Carolina Center for Global Logistics will become a resource for logistics information on a national and international scale.

The campus itself was named after Dr. Donald W. Cameron who was president of Guilford Technical Community College from 1991 to 2011. His vision was to build a campus to serve the citizens and students in the northern portion of Guilford County.

FROM DURHAM/RALEIGH

Take I-40 West towards Greensboro/Winston-Salem. Take Exit 210 toward the Piedmont Triad International Airport onto Hwy 68 North turning right off of the ramp. Follow NC Hwy 68 North for 4.2 miles going through several stoplights. Please be aware of traffic conditions as there is a lot of construction work happening near the campus. Turn left onto Leabourne Road at the stoplight. You can see the campus from the stoplight intersection.

FROM CHARLOTTE

Merge onto I-85 North. Keep right at the fork to continue on I-85BUS N/US-52 North, follow signs for Interstate 85 Business/Lexington/Winston-Salem. Keep left to continue on US-52 North. Take the exit onto I-40 East/US-311 South toward Greensboro/High Point. Keep left at the fork to continue on I-40 East. Take Exit 210 for NC-68 North toward the Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI). Follow NC Hwy 68 North for 4.2 miles going through several stoplights. FROM WINSTON-SALEM

Take I-40 East towards Greensboro/Winston-Salem. Take Exit 210 toward the Piedmont Triad International Airport onto Hwy 68 North turning left off of the ramp. Merge onto I-73 North/I-74 North. Keep left at the fork to continue on I-73 North. Take Exit 95B for I-73 North/Groometown Road toward I-40 West/Winston-Salem. Keep left to continue on I-73 North, follow signs for Groometown Road/Grandover Parkway. Keep left at the fork to continue on US-421 North, following signs for Exit 103 B. Merge onto I-40 West/US-421 North. Use the right lane to take Exit 210 for NC-68 towards the Piedmont Triad International Airport.
